This site is built to be readable on a phone in a driveway and with a keyboard at a desk. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA for the pages we control.

• Landmarks for banner, navigation, main, and contentinfo
• Visible focus styles
• Form controls with labels; calculator and directory status announced with aria-live where results appear
• Minimum 44px-tall primary controls
• Text (not images of text) for guidance
• Reduced-motion: animations disabled when you asked the operating system to reduce motion
• Language set to English on every page

Some official sources we link to are PDFs from agencies. Those files are not rewritten here. If a SIPH or DEQ PDF is unusable with your assistive technology, contact that agency and, if you want, copy us at hello@blackfootseptic.com so we can add a text summary.
