Independent public resource for Bingham County. We do not pump tanks, install systems, or issue permits.

Disclosure

This domain is a resource, not a septic company

Blackfoot Septic Resource publishes original, locally specific guidance so Bingham County residents can use the same public rules that govern their systems. We are not a pumper, installer, excavator, inspector-for-hire, or health district.

What changed on this site

The previous version of blackfootseptic.com was a lead-generation landing page. It advertised “fast, local crews,” same-day callbacks, emergency dispatch, and a phone number—(208) 980-7333—that did not match the published SIPH or DEQ licensed-pumper lists we reviewed. It listed nearby towns without unique information. It spoke as if the site were the contractor. That is the opposite of a trustworthy public resource.

This rebuild removes:

If you arrived here expecting to book a pump-out, use the provider directory and confirm the company’s current SIPH or DEQ permit yourself. Do not call a number from an old ad for this domain and assume it is a licensed Bingham County pumper.

Independence and money

Editorial pages are not for sale. If a pumping or installation company ever pays for a placement, that row will be marked Paid listing in the directory. Referral relationships, if any exist later, will use the same label. As of 17 September 2026 there are no paid or referral listings on this site.

Directory rows come from public installer and pumper lists. They are snapshots. Licenses expire, bonds lapse, and phone numbers change. Appearance here is not an endorsement, ranking, or “best of Blackfoot” award.

Whose rules we follow

Statewide design, siting, pumping, and septage-disposal minimums live in IDAPA 58.01.03 and Idaho DEQ’s Technical Guidance Manual. SIPH Environmental Health in Blackfoot and Pocatello administers those rules for Bingham County. EPA’s SepticSmart materials cover homeowner operation. None of those agencies asked us to build this site, and none of them certify it.

What we will correct

Staff names, fees, and license lists go stale. If you are a listed company, an Environmental Health Specialist, or a homeowner who finds a factual error, use the corrections page. We will not insert customer testimonials in exchange for a correction.
